Why the studio exists

Webryk started from a simple observation: plenty of good businesses have a strong offer and a website that does not explain it well enough. A customer arrives, does not find what they came for, and leaves for the competitor next door. The studio exists to fix that.

What I aim for is fast websites that stay easy to keep evolving. And to be the person a local entrepreneur calls when they want serious work without detours.

I work out of Sherbrooke, with direct communication and decisions explained in plain words. You do not need to know the vocabulary of the web to follow what is happening on your own project.

Four distinctions

Two come from the Quebec entrepreneurial world and two from school. The bodies that award them are named in full. Where the distinction was published, the link goes to the publication; where it was not, it goes to the certificate itself.

What that means in practice

  • 01One person on your fileThe person who answers your first email is the one who writes the code and puts the site online. There is nobody you will be handed off to.
  • 02A timeline stated up frontThe usual delivery is 7 to 14 days depending on the content. What stretches it is missing copy and missing photos, and I tell you that during the scoping call rather than afterwards.
  • 03The site is yoursThe domain name, your content and the pages written for you belong to you. My reusable components stay mine, under a perpetual licence: it is spelled out in section 5 of the terms. In practice nothing is locked inside a platform I control, and another developer can pick the site up without starting from scratch.
  • 04No surprise amountsThe written quote carries the detailed scope and the payment terms. Nothing is added later without being agreed in writing first.
  • 05A reply within 2 business daysDuring the project and after it. You write to contact@webryk.ca and I am the one who reads it.
